I don't think that it will be that much easy for Google to take down FF. On the other hand i think it will take them years to do this.

I look at it this way. Until Google Chrome can give me the constant steady and reliable experience that Firefox has given me for about 7 years now, I won't switch. I can't use Roboforum, I can't block ads, i can do anything that has made Forefox the choice for me for so many years.

i feel google doesn't need colaboration with any other brower. They alone will emerge as the best browser and the feature that they will introduce would take internet to a new generatino  !!!!

Not only FF add-ons, Google will introduce plenty of addictive add-ons of its own. This is a firm that is renowned for innovation people! And it will not take “years”. Agreed Firefox is pretty popular, but nothing beats Google. :)
