So how do you get Google Chrome to work anyway? I downloaded this hoping for something interesting and I got this shell of a browser that lacks all the features that made me abandon IE. No addon support, meaning no roboform or ad blocking, or greasemonkey.

Just what is this browser supposed to offer compared to my tweaked out Firefox?

Well it still is in beta which explains the lack of features. The ad block is a must though but considering this is google, they're all for ads so perhaps they'll let someone else do the addon. It's open source so hopefully the browser develops fast.

How good was Firefox when it was launched? Not even close to the fast HTML parsing of Google's Chrome. Google always starts with the basics. Add-ons come later :)
