I almost dread to ask this but I need some advice.

I have tried FF maybe 3 or 4 times over the last few years and could never get it to work without some serious hitch, so I always ended up going back to IE.

Running IE7.0.6001.18000 now, don't really like it, Vista, like much less. But I was about to download FF3 and try it again when I discovered Chrome. Just about an hour ago. Had not heard of it yet. All those version of FF I have tried in the past I liked, expect for the various bugs and whatnots that finally made me go back to IE, but I am ready to take another stab.

This is not a Ford VS Chevy questions, it's a Ford AND Chevy question. . . . . .

Is there any reason I can't download both FF3 AND Chrome and use them both (not at the same time obviously) for a few days? If I do, are there any cautions or download/transition tricks, tips, or taboos I should know about?

i have used almost all of the browsers….and firefox is d best…

I've used Firefox as much as Opera myself. I was using Opera recently til I encountered problems with certain sites and had to switch back to Firefox. I'm feeling out Chrome for the moment but haven't fully switched.

All you people talk about flaws in Firefox 3.0. I've used it since day one and have yet to encounter anything I would consdier a flaw in the browser itself. A couple of my addons had to catch up as they were causing problems, but not the brower itself.

I use Chrome, Firefox and Opera all together ( not at the same time, usually :)).No catches involved. But keep a look out for Chrome updates. I am hoping it would be my primary browser pretty soon.
