Ok Guys,

 Im pretty annoyed today, quite simply because i have received 3 pm's from people asking me to join their 1 hit wonder Chrome community. One of these people being Craig advertising a specific board, almost identical to this one asking people to post themes etc on there.

 I have been developing websites and communities ever since i can remember and to be honest i always have respect for other websites, i do not promote my own sites if they are in any way, shape or form related to them, unless it is just a personal blog. I just feel that web developers feel they can setup a forum at the click of a button then “steal” members from other sites. I mean coming here signing up and yoru first post is “hey join my community @ http://mysitesucks.com” it's just a total lack of respect and to be honest it just shows how inexperienced and immature people like this really are, not to mention the fact that they are too lazy to find other methods of reaching out to members.

I think the concern is genuine. It is pretty annoying to get PMs like the one stated. And it is relevant to post it here to keep other forum members informed.
