I've been wondering, is Chrome antagonistic toward Firefox and vice-versa, or are they working together to the benefit of all?

I hope that there isn't a new browser war… that would make me sad.

I honestly want them to work together, and considering their open-source nature I have confidence that this will happen, but developers might start taking sides.

There's no need for anyone to team up against IE because IE sucks and only Microsoft's employees use it anyway. Google is growing its brand and now they're trying to invade the browser market. I hope they don't succeed.

Google is trying to take over Internet browser world and i don't think that it have any buddies in this line. All other Internet Browsers are just enemies for it and it is going to complet everyone else.

Google and Firefox are definitely NOT working together. Speculations say that Google is trying to win in the already established browser industry. They are competitors.
